Employee Recognition: CūtisCare Recognizes, Awards and Promotes Employees and their Wound Care Management Teams
Providing nationally recognized, first-rate solutions for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and advanced wound care treatment starts with a team that embraces excellence. Every year, we reflect on our employees’ accomplishments and celebrate a few of our outstanding team members from across the organization.
“Our employees are our biggest assets,” says Faye Traeger, vice president of human resources at CūtisCare. “This years’ award winners are not only recognized for their above and beyond performance, but also for inspiring the rest of the CūtisCare team.”
Meet our 2021 award winners:
Program Director of the Year: Brenda Davis, Program Director
Brenda is a dedicated and talented clinical leader at Wound Healing Center at UT Health Tyler is determined to deliver excellent clinical outcomes with growing the wound care and hyperbaric department. She has staffed the center with positive, energetic, and committed employees who pridefully serve patients.
Regional Director of the Year: Merriann Deteso, Regional Director
Merriann is a strong operational leader with high expectations for clinical quality and exemplary patient care. She is always willing to take on new responsibilities. She is steadfast in growing existing centers, implementing new centers, and devoted to staff development at the site, regionally and nationally.
Business Development Person of the Year: Greg Reeners, Vice President Business Development
Greg represents CutisCare at the highest level of professionalism. In addition to cultivating relationships and expanding CutisCare managed center population, Greg was an instrumental architect as CutisCare built and launched a new service line to help better serve patients with wounds.
Corporate Person of the Year: Tami Rodriguez, Director of Finance
Tami completes her assignments with impeccable detail. She is always enthusiastic to accommodate new requests with a wide range of responsibilities from payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, banking, month-end close, and financial reporting. In addition, she continues to pursue professional development and completed the Women in Leadership Course through Notre Dame University this year.
This year we also recognize two of our Program Leaders for their commitment to excellence, out-of-box thinking, and ability to execute a plan into action.
Excellence Award: Cari Loeb, Program Director at Legacy Health Hyperbaric Department in Portland.
Cari is an enthusiastic leader that dedicates her time to help educate physicians and the community on the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for non-healing wounds. Her efforts help more patients find the life-changing treatment they deserve.
Excellence Award: Scott Bien, Technical Program Manager of the University of Toledo Medical Center Hyperbaric Department.
Scott reinvented his community outreach efforts utilizing Blogs, podcasts, and Hyperbaric Awareness Month CutisCare’s Hyperbaric Aware Campaign to create greater awareness and education throughout the Medical Center and surrounding community.
Employee Promotions for 2022
During a global pandemic, we must recognize the ingenuity of our team members that went above and beyond in the interest of public health and patient/employee safety. The following individuals allow CutisCare to provide the highest quality patient care and are worthy of recognition and promotion.
